Marr Hall, Bishopton

This project involved the addition of a link building between the original detached villa and existing garage building. Above the double garage, at ground floor level, living accommodation provided a breakout space for the family but was underused do limited facilities and external access. To address this problem a large utility room, gymnasium, kitchen and shower room create a direct link from the main house allowing the new facilities to be shared by both properties as the family grows. The building was designed to respect the scale, materials and detailing of the existing house to ensure that it blended in with the surrounding environment.
