| | Clach An Seallaidh, Balquhidder | This project involved the refurbishment and remodelling of an existing 2 storey cottage which had fallen into a state of disrepair. The existing layout consisted of a series of small rooms with no direct relationship to the rear garden area which offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The rooms to the rear of the property were combined to form a large kitchen / dining / living space and corner glazed doors were added opening the room onto a raised patio area overlooking the garden. On the upper floor new bedrooms and a family bathroom were created from an existing single room. To the rear a new porch and utility were added and the existing sunroom to the gable rebuilt. The floors, walls, roof and services were renewed to create a bright and comfortable family home.
