This project involves the diversification of a working farm to provide self catering holiday accommodation. Existing stone byres will be converted into seven 2 storey terraced cottages. Existing openings have been utilised where possible and all materials chosen to compliment the rural setting.
Six new energy efficient timber chalets with sedum roofing have been designed to sit within the undulating landscape. These will be clad in locally sourced larch cladding with large glazed screens to public rooms giving long distance views over the Solway Firth.
