Fairyknowe Gardens, Bothwell

This project involves the extension and internal and external remodelling of an existing bungalow. At ground level the existing garage is converted to create additional living space with a new garage added to the opposite gable. The rooms to the rear are extended to provide a large living / dining / kitchen  space with separate utility, all opening into the rear garden. The entrance hallway is opened up and the stair moved to a more prominent position giving better access to the upper floor.
On this floor a new master bedroom with en suite, family bathroom and additional bedrooms are  built into the roof space, all entered from a naturally lit hallway. Large areas of glazing and timber dormers give the house a more contemporary feel.
